I do have to sympathise with the Jonas Brothers. They proudly wear their purity rings and yet the majority of their fan base is obsessed with de-purifying these rings at any given chance!
Although I do sympathise... I am still laughing my pudgy little butt off at this video of the boys performing a concert in Chile where a girl, with excellent aim might I add, sent a bra flying directly into Joe Jonas's hands.
His reflexes seem to have gotten quicker too because without even looking down at the bra, he quickly let it drop and walked away. Yes, he didn't even have to look. That tells me a lot about this boy.
Either he knows the lacy, warm feel of a freshly worn bra all too well... or maybe Papa Jonas the Church minister had the boys 'study' bras in 'Bra Dodging On Stage 101.' Judging by the stick-barbies Joe Jonas dates like Camilla Belle, Taylor Swift and Australian model Amelia Than-Aye; I'm gonna wager a guess that it was the bra dodging classes and not experience which allowed him to make the quick realisation that it was a bra in his hands. After all, none of those girls has anything except nipples and nipples don't need bras...nooo, you just need two peanut shells and some string.

Taylor Swift Does Rolling Stone
Country crooner and Joe Jonas reject Taylor Swift has now been given the honour of gracing the Rolling Stone cover this month.
Unfortunately for Taylor, it looks like Rolling Stone doesn't like her much. The cover choice is horrendous. She looks deformed.
In the new issue, Taylor hit back at claims that the 27 second break up call with Joe was only 27 seconds long because she hung up: 'I did not hang up on him.' Then she reportewdly mouthed, 'Omigod.'
Cute.
Shame the same can't be said about her shoot with the magazine. Come on, Taylor, we know you're a pretty girl so how could you let them do this to you?!
Jomilla Defiance Movie Date
According to tween magazine TWIST; the recent paparazzi pictures of Joe Jonas and Camilla Belle leaving the movies were from the day they watched Defiance.
Along for the ride was their long-time family friend Maya Kibble and big bro Kevin Jonas.
Nick was probably home dumping that Miley Cyrus wannabe.

Taylor Swift Can't Help Herself...
Taylor Swift will soon be releasing second single 'White Horse' and is making the rounds on chat shows to complete the required promotion.
While at the Tonight Show With Jay Leno on Friday night (5th December), Taylor not only performed her single but also gave yet another interview with a not-so-hidden jibe at ex-boyfriend Joe Jonas!
Whilst talking about her upcoming birthday, Taylor said she needed new glasses and a new boyfriend. I bet she's sad that Leno conveniently stirred the conversation away from boy-talk after that, she seemed like she was itching to talk about Joe Jonas! Poor guy must be having nightmares about her. Which must be, after all, what she wants. No one messes with Squinty!

Taylor Warned Joe Jonas
Taylor Swift's album Fearless is officially out... duh. Although Taylor may be someone who boasts that she is without fear, it seems this headstrong little lady is the one inspiring the fear - in a telltale message at the end of her THANK YOU's, Taylor writes: 'And to the boys who inspired this album, you had a fair warning.'
Yikes!

Taylor Still In JONAS Movie
According to Star magazine, Taylor Swift has not been cut out of the Jonas Brothers' heavily anticipated 3D movie... yet! The director says she is still in the final cut of the movie and the Jonas Brothers mentioned earlier themselves that they had already seen a screening for the finished movie.
Maybe it's too late to cut her out?
Or maybe the JoBros are taking the high road and not letting a messy break-up interfere with their professionalism? Bravo to them if that's the case!

The Joe Jonas Business
The last two weeks have been crazy for the Jonas Brothers and it's all because of a girl! THE girl. Miss Shiny Sparkly Taylor Swift!
Taylor had been off the radar for a while as she had been working on her second album, Fearless, which came out this week. Of course, once promotion started for the album - there was no stopping Taylor and certainly no stopping her motor-mouth!
It began with rumors that Joe Jonas had broken up with the blonde country crooner over the phone. Neither the Jonas nor Swift camp chose to comment on this until last week when Taylor updated her MySpace video blog...
Did YOU spot the Joe Jonas quip? At 4.18, Taylor coyly holds up a Joe Camp Rock doll and remarks that it even comes with a phone to break up with other girls. Later on, she holds up a Taylor doll to the Joe doll and tells her doll to stay away from the Joe doll.
Cue the blog-o-mania!
It was clear what had happened. Joe had cruelly broken Taylor's heart... over the phone! That wasn't very gentleman-like, was it? And aren't JB always boasting about what little romantics they are and how they treat girls like goddesses? Tut-tut. Reality tells us differently! Unfortunately for JB, the majority of their fanbase is girl-based... and girls know heartbreak only too well... so Team Taylor shirts must have been a popular item on Amazon!
Of course, once Taylor had put it out there, the blog was going to come back to haunt her in every interview. She made an appearance on Ellen to pimp her new album and of course, was asked about Joe and revealed even more, saying that he had broken up with her in a '25 second phone call' (this has varied from 27 seconds to 30 seconds). She also expressed that she was hurting and clearly, she was not over it.
This only fired up the girl-crowd even more and even unwavering Jonas fans started to crack and admitted Joe was in the wrong. At the same time, people were starting to lose sympathy for Taylor as she continued to reference Joe Jonas in interviews/blogs.
In a new MySpace blog, she denied rumors that she was pregnant stating firmly: I read a very creative rumor this morning saying I'm pregnant, which is the most IMPOSSIBLE thing on the planet. Take my word for it. Impossible.
Many interpreted this as Taylor making a remark about the Jonas Brothers' purity rings and once again, it caused OMGs! and OMFGGGGGs! all over the discussion boards. People seemed to have forgotten that like JB, Taylor also had morals... mainly 'I won't have sex until marriage' morals, so if anything, she was validating her own purity rather then belittling theirs but whatever....
Around this time, the Jonas Brothers and their clan were photographed rather unflatteringly on the beach in Cabos. There was a lot of horror at Kevin Jonas's short-shorts and discussion of whether JB actually had ever experienced sunlight before. Once again, JB faced backlash. Things weren't working in their favour this week...
Then came the CMA's 2008 where Taylor performed her single Love Story with Miley Cyrus's beau Justin Gaston.
Miley told interviewers that she enjoyed seeing her 'two best friends' up on stage together. Of course, Miley added more fuel to the fire with this remark because now it appeared as if the ex-Jonas girlfriends were banding together.
It also once again put JB in a negative light, making people consider what was wrong with the boys... what were they doing to their girlfriends to leave them as bitter as Taylor and Miley?
At the CMA's red carpet, Taylor once again talked about Joe Jonas and this time, it appeared she had gone too far. She told OK! Magazine that Joe had cheated on her with Camilla Belle and that was why they had broken up!
The uproar caused by this was either of people screeching FOR FUCKS SAKE TAYLOR SHUT YOUR FUCKING MOUTH, I AM DONE FEELING SORRY FOR YOU AND YOU ARE JUST PUSHING ME FURTHER AND FURTHER TO GRAB MY SHOTGUN AND SHOOT YOU IN THE ASS, JUST SHUT THE FUCK UP! or alternatively stating OMG JOE JONAS IS A WOMANIZER, WOMANIZER, WOMANIZER, OH, YOU'RE A WOMANIZER, BABY, YOU, YOU, YOU ARE, YOU, YOU, YOU ARE, WOMANIZER, WOMANIZER!

When the hysteria to this quote broke out and OK! magazine realised people were actually reading the shit on their site, they realised they were treading dangerous territory in mis-quoting Taylor and went for the honest approach by changing the quote to something less implosive:
"They've been together since we broke up," Taylor tells OK!. "That's why we broke up - because he met her."
BUT the damage was done and it seems the Jonas Brothers had already seen the first quote and considering they don't communicate with Taylor anymore, they were angry and frustrated that she was manipulating the media in this way. They must have been seeing the backlash on their on MySpace too. So, for the first time in Jonas history, the three brothers wrote an open letter to their fans on their official MySpace and Joe cleared a few things up.
To Our Fans from Joe, Kevin and Nick:
It is our normal rule to avoid talking about our private lives. It seems that it has come to the point where we must address a few things. We would prefer to address these things and then leave it alone from that point forward.
We felt like it was important to respond because recent events have affected our fans. It is important to us as artists and brothers to enlighten regarding this situation. Our fans are the most important thing to us.
There are rumors and suggestions that are being publicized in the press right now about us. Like all people our age we are trying to find someone special that we can share time with in our busy lives. We all have busy schedules and high demands. We love our life and are thankful for all that we have. We are simply stating that it is difficult to maintain relationships with the kind of life we live.
We love our fans and it is important to us to protect that relationship.
To Our Fans from Joe:
This blog is not an attack of anyone. Anytime you are in a relationship for any length of time there are going to be issues. Sometimes they resolve. Other times they lead to a change of heart. This was the case recently.

A phone call can be pretty short when someone else ends the call. The only difference in this conversation was that I shared something the other person did not want to hear.
There were later attempts at communication that had no response.
I wish the best for the other person but could not sit back any longer and leave our fans with a wrong impression of the truth.

A rather melodramatic and very formal blog post woke a lot of JB fans up. The Brothers need their fans, their fans are their lifeline and the thing about JB is that they have always had the fans on their side. They have never experienced stern criticism from the press, they have been labelled the 'good boys' and the ones who can 'do no wrong.'
So to have their fans and the media suddenly turn around and question their morals, their relationships and their personalities must have really shook them up. Now they know how Miley Cyrus felt when she recieved blacklash over the Niley relationship. Yet, the Brothers do care. They aren't so involved in Hollywood and so in the clouds that criticism doesn't affect them anymore. If anything, they seemed to have re-evaluated themselves and come back stronger.
Taylor's new album is doing amazingly well, I've only heard 'Love Story' so far and I love it but I doubt the rest of the album will attract me and I will probably forget all about her in another week or so unless she drops Joe's name again.

The Jaylor Backlash
Looking at the Jonas Brothers latest blog update on MySpace and the comments in it - it seems as if there's quite a bit of negative backlash for the brothers.
The new blog advertises the deluxe edition of A Little Bit Longer but fans, like the one highlighted there, seem more interested in Joe Jonas's break-up with Taylor Swift. It seems like the girlie JB fans know what heartbreak feels like and are sticking up for Team Taylor.
Still, I think it's a little harsh to hate on Joe... I mean, we've only heard Taylor's side so far.

The ex-girlfriend of Joe Jonas took to her MySpace blog today to dispell the myth:
I read a very creative rumor this morning saying I'm pregnant, which is the most IMPOSSIBLE thing on the planet. Take my word for it. Impossible.

Taylor's Cell Phone Break-Up
It seems like as amazing as the Jonas Brothers are in terms of talent and hotness... they are just like normal teenage boys when it comes to their love lives. That means sometimes they get their hearts broken and sometimes they are the heartbreakers.
Clearly, Nick Jonas hurt Miley Cyrus. Now, it seems like country crooner Taylor Swift was hurt by Joe Jonas. In her latest MySpace video, featuring Nick's new girlfriend Selena Gomez, Taylor attempts to promote her new album Fearless which will drop November 11th. In the video she also plays with a Joe Jonas doll and tellingly states 'See, this one even comes with a phone, see, so you can break up with other dolls.'

Zac Likes His Body

The trailer for Zac Efron's upcoming movie 17 Again has just been released and in some screencap-worthy scenes, the sizzlingly hot 21 year old is shirtless. Yes, ladies and gaymen. Shirtless.
Ugh. I can't do this.
I am not attracted to Zac Efron. Don't get me wrong, I'm a red blooded girl all over. I don't know. Give me a Joe Jonas anyday. But hey, Zac's shirtlessness seems to be getting everyone hot and sweaty, so why not? Here you go.

Taylor's Post-Break-Up Blog
Taylor Swift just updated her official MySpace blog and tellingly writes that she has been making playlists of sad songs. I love this girl and her sense of humour. She's amazing.
AMA’s and life.
Hey guys! I’m so excited, you got me nominated for an American Music Award this year!! I’m nominated in the “Favorite Female Country” category. Thank you so much for making that happen for me again this year!! It’ll be so cool to go to the AMA’s again. I’m performing, and I have so many ideas that we’re working out for the performance.

In other news, I just got back from a 5 show run on the road. Now I’m sitting in my kitchen..on the counter. Eating cool whip. And trying to think of things to do with my free time. Other than talking to my cat and making playlists of sad songs. Sad songs are awesome, by the way. I’m also editing a new video, so expect that to be up here in a few days.
Tomorrow I do more album media preparation/interviews/taped performances/blahblahblahh for album release week. Basically what you do around an album release is you start taping things way in advance, so they can air on TV when the album comes out. So we’ve been doing all of that for months. Then my best friend, Abigail, is coming in from college (she’s too far away.
I’m trying to convince her this whole college thing needs to work around our friendship and not be so time consuming.) Then this weekend, we play in Nashville with Rascal Flatts. And every day, my album is closer to being OUT. Yesssss. I love you so much for your comments. Thank you for saying nice things to me. You have no idea how much that really, really can make my day. You’re what makes me smile. :)

Why Jaylor Broke Up?
Taylor Swift was allegedly ‘falling in love‘ with boyfriend Joe Jonas when he broke up with her. Sources claim the couple, who never confirmed their romance, split earlier this month after the Joe was ‘pressured’ by his family to end the relationship.
An insider dished, ‘He dumped her because of his crazy work schedule and because he had pressure from his family to stay single in order to further his career. Taylor was falling in love with him, and it was getting too serious, too quickly for him.’ Taylor is reportedly ‘heartbroken’ over the split.
If this 'source' is true, I kind of understand why Joe would have such pressures. He has to maintain his 'purity rings' promise and with a Disney show on the way - it seems more important now then ever to stay clean-cut and pure. Yet, at the same time, Nick Jonas, 16, is dating Selena Gomez and the family isn't pressurising him? This is where I think this so-called source isn't true.
I feel for both Taylor and Joe, break-ups are tough, especially public ones. Both Joe and Taylor have class though and I'm sure they'll pick themselves up from this and continue with their careers as well as ever.
